Elizabeth Jane Hurley, an English actress and model who gained notoriety during the 1990s as Hugh Grant's girlfriend was an ex- English model. When Grant became the focus of media attention due to his international film's box office success, Four Weddings and a Funeral, Hurley accompanied Grant in an elongated black Versace gown that was held in place by gold safety pins. Her appearance gained immediate media exposure. Hurley has enjoyed a thriving career but her association with Estee Lauder cosmetics is the most notable. They offered Hurley the first model opportunity at age 29. They have used as models for its products especially perfumes like Sensuous Intuition and Pleasures from 1995. In the movies that are a hit with fans, such as International Man of Mystery (1997) as well as Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1998), she played Vanessa Kensington.
